WebMy view is that the Cherohala is far more limited as a gravel bike then a road bike. Limitations as a gravel bike are tire clearance and stock gearing. The gearing is easy enough to change. I got a 11-34 cassette which helped a lot. I may go full 1x GRX in the spring, but remains to be seen. Tire clearance cannot be changed, obviously.
